Mengapa Ruang Masjid Makin Luas Menjelang Pertengahan Ramadhan?

INFRASTRUKTUR.CO.ID, JAKARTA: Di Masjid Al Ikhwan, Kampung Sawah, Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan, setiap Sabtu malam selama Ramadhan 1444 H, digelar acara ceramah agama Islam sebelum shalat tarawih.

Pada pekan pertama tampil Ustadz Kamal Hasan yang mengingatkan akan manfaat puasa dan keutamaan ibadah pada bulan ramadhan.

Pada pekan kedua tampil Ustadz Kholidin Marullah yang menyampaikan ceramahnya tentang kewajiban berpuasa sesuai perintah Allah dalam Surat Al Baqarah ayat 1983. Pekan ketiga, Sabtu, 1 April 2023, KH Jujum Jumhanamengingatkan betapa besarnya pahala beribadah selama Ramadhan. “Kita memasuki malam ke-11 yang berarti terbuka pintu rahmat,” ujarnya.

Pada sepuluh hari pertama di bulan Ramadhan, Allah memberikan maghfiroh (ampunan) kepada hambanya, sedangkan di sepuluh hari terakhir adalah terbebas dari api neraka. Itulah sebabnya ia mengingatkan agar ibadah Ramadhan jangan sampai kendur. “Ketika menjelang akhir, biasanya masjid makin luas,” ujarnya disambut tawa jamaah.

Makin luas artinya, para jemaah semakin sedikit hingga ruang masjid kian kosong.

BANYAK TANTANGAN

Memasuki hari ke-11 puasa pada Ramadhan 1444 memang cukup banyak tantangan yang dihadapi kaum muslimin. Salah satunya adalah menahan amarah dalam berpuasa agar ibadah menjadi lebih sempurna.

Berbagai cara dapat dilakukan. Misalnya, mengatur pola pernafasan. Ketika akan marah, maka tarik nafas panjang-panjang kemudian keluarkan secara perlahan. Lebih utama sambil terus beristighfar. Jika Anda marah sambil berdiri maka coba duduklah, kemudian mengambil air wudhu.

Cara lainnya adalah mencari udara segar di luar. Ada hal lain yang cukup unik, yaitu mencurahkan hati melalui tulisan. Jika Anda marah, maka sebaiknya menulis bukan yang berupa umpatan atau makian tetapi sebaliknya, tulislah kata-kata yang baik dan mulia.

 

Ramadan is a month of patience and self-reflection. However, with the heightened emotions during the month, many of us face the challenge of restraining our anger and suppressing unhelpful thoughts. It is important to remain mindful and respectful of the principles of Ramadan, as letting anger take control during this month can nullify the reward of fasting.

The Prophet Muhammad gave us the advice to avoid or deflect any situation or conversation that causes us to be angered or annoyed. This can be done by walking away from a disagreement or ending conversations that may lead to a heated argument. If someone is getting angry, it is important to remain calm and patient and avoid raising one’s voice as this could heighten the level of emotion. Furthermore, it is important to think of the consequences that come with being angry and how it can nullify our fasting reward.

Another way to help manage and restrain ourselves from feeling negatively is to take a few deep breaths, breathe in and out slowly to help our mind and body relax. Engaging in spiritual activities such as the recitation of duas, the reading of Qur’an and the contemplation of meditation can help to restrain our emotions.

It is essential to remember that our actions and words have an impact on our spiritual being, so during the month of Ramadan and beyond, we should strive to stay focussed and remain mindful of our spiritual goals and strive to stay free of anger and seek peace and tranquillity. May Allah guide us all in practicing controlled emotions and following the sunnah of the beloved Prophet (ﷺ). Amin.
